Elizabeth Bluhm has over 25 years of real estate and capital markets experience, with a focus on affordable housing for the past 15+ years. She headed the low income housing tax credit equity business of Red Capital Group, a national multifamily lender, investor and syndicator, from 1994 to 2001. In 2001 she opened Red Capital’s San Diego office, offering debt and equity products for affordable and market-rate multifamily projects throughout California, and headed that office until 2010 when she established her consulting practice. Prior to her years with Red Capital she was employed by Credit Suisse First Boston in institutional sales in New York and Los Angeles, specializing in municipal bonds. Ms. Bluhm recently completed a 2-year term as Chair of the Board of Directors of the California Housing Consortium and is currently a member of its Executive Committee. She holds a BA in Philosophy from Scripps College and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
