Douglas
C. Perkins
Owner, Pacific Gateway Group
Mr. Perkins has more than 25 years experience in education
and public affairs. As the owner of Pacific Gateway Group,
a public affairs and marketing firm, he works with corporate
and nonprofit clients consulting in program development,
government relations, marketing plans, community education
and community networking. Prior to Pacific Gateway Group,
Mr. Perkins was the director of the San Diego County Organization
of Private Education (SCOPE), responsible for the administration
of federal, state and local programs of more than $4 million
for 20 schools throughout San Diego County. Mr. Perkins
provided the oversight of training programs for more than
1,500 students as well as staff and fiscal management
and served on various government and industry advisory
committees.
