Description:
13 studio and one-bedroom apartments designed for chronically disabled people who are exiting homelessness. These affordable homes are coupled with robust support services that help residents live more stable, independent lives for the long term. 

Background & Status:
The Shores at North Beach opened in San Diego's Ocean Beach neighborhood in late 2024. The urban infill development replaced a transitional living facility with permanent supportive housing that will serve the community for many years to come.

Financing Sources:
CA Department of Housing and Community Development Homekey funds, County of San Diego, City of San Diego and San Diego Housing Commission project-based vouchers.

Leasing Information:
Residents have already been identified, but people who think they may qualify for supportive housing in San Diego should call 211.
