La Sabila, our newest senior affordable housing community in Vista, will soon open its doors to adults 62 and older. Among the 85 units, 42 are reserved for seniors who have experienced homelessness. To ensure they feel supported and prepped for success, we’re raising $25,000 to provide Welcome Home Kits filled with bedding, kitchenware, bathroom, and laundry essentials.

Research shows that nearly 98% of residents remain housed when moving into a furnished home — compared to 25% who return to homelessness without. That means seniors in furnished apartments are over 3× more likely to stay housed.
