Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Resident Services Manager, coordinates and implements organized social activities for school-aged youth as well as adult residents. Assists residents with connecting to appropriate community resources. Facilitates life skills workshops that aide in the well-being and self-sustainability of residents by inviting community partners to host on-site workshops.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate life skills workshops and community engagement events for residents
Assist in planning and implementing educational, recreational and enrichment activities
Connect residents with supportive services and local community resources.
Assist residents with employment-related tasks such as creating cover letters and resumes, navigating online job applications, and using digital employment platforms.
Perform monthly administrative tasks such as creating calendars, compiling recap and attendance reports, submitting supply requests, and updating bulletin boards.
Maintain accurate resident service records on shared platforms such as the site Share Drive and Family Metrics system, including uploading photos, calendars, and reports.
Conduct ongoing outreach to residents via phone, email, test or flyers to promote resident services
Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with property management, ensuring they are informed of monthly activities and events through calendar distribution
Supervise and engage with youth residents to ensure safety and participation.
Provide homework help and academic support when needed.
Help maintain a clean and organized environment.
Communicate effectively with youth, staff and parents as needed.
Support program goals and policies in a professional manner.
Organize and clean center (sometimes lifting items that may weigh up to 40 lbs)
Address behavioral issues using positive reinforcement and redirection.
Support food distribution efforts by packing, organizing and delivering food supplies while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
Perform other duties as required and assigned

Hours - Part Time (25 Hours Per Week)
Monday – Friday 1pm-6pm
Preferred Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a basic knowledge and understanding of school-aged children.
Be a self-starter and perform job duties with little supervision.
Possess the ability to follow written and oral directions.
Must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet search engines.
Experience working with diverse populations across age, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
Must be able to pass a background check
Must hold certificate for Mandated Reporter in Child Abuse or be able to attain one
Must hold certificate for CPR and Mental Health First Aid or be able to attain one
Willingness to travel between program sites as needed
Participation in all required training and development courses
Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned
