City Heights Plaza Del Sol is a new construction, mixed-use affordable housing community with 75 affordable homes for households earning 60% or less of the Area Median Income (AMI).

Completed in 2024, the building features five stories of stunning, contemporary-design multi-room apartments, ample common areas, amenities, and onsite resident services.

Plaza Del Sol also has a ground floor flex room available for local community groups to use for meetings and gatherings, in honor of the site's former use as American Legion Hall Post #201. The American Legion served as a key neighborhood gathering spot in the early 20th century, hosting parties, weddings, political meetings, veteran support activities and even serving as an emergency hospital during times of need. An informative dedication plaque and interpretive display paying homage to the historical significance of the site is on display.
