Parkside provides 77 affordable homes (25 studio, 18 one-bedroom, 29 two-bedroom and 5 three-bedroom), all designed for families earning 60% of less than the Area Median Income (AMI).

Wakeland is the sole developer, owner and operator of Parkside, which was completed in December 2009. The site was purchased from East Village Community Church, which retained a ground level parcel on the site on which Wakeland constructed a new worship center for the congregation. Parkside is also a model for sustainable building, certified LEED Platinum.
