The Teralta is a new mixed-use affordable housing community located in San Diego’s City Heights neighborhood, offering 73 homes for households earning between 30% and 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

Completed in 2026, the community features a mix of studio to four-bedroom apartments designed to meet the needs of individuals and larger, multigenerational families. The development thoughtfully preserves the historic façade of the former Superior Furniture Co. building while introducing modern, high-quality housing and community spaces.

Residents enjoy access to a variety of amenities, including a community room with kitchen and computer lab, a landscaped courtyard with play and barbeque areas, and a rooftop deck for gatherings and events. The property also includes two ground-floor commercial spaces that will serve the surrounding neighborhood.
