Rehabilitation project in partnership with City Heights Community Development Corporation: rehab construction began February 2014 and was completed November 2014 by Sun Country Builders. Owned by City Heights Ten, L.P., in which Wakeland is the Managing General Partner and City Heights Community Development Corporation is the Co-General Partner.
Tax credits (4%) and loans from San Diego Housing Commission, Wells Fargo and the California Community Reinvestment Corporation
City Heights Community Development Corporation provides the on-site Resident Self Sufficiency (RSS) program, a comprehensive wraparound program of resident involvement initiatives and community development projects that provides residents with tools that they will need to secure better employment, higher education and optimum living conditions for their families.
