HELP WAKELAND RESIDENTS IMPACTED BY SAN DIEGO'S CATASTROPHIC FLOODS
On January 22, 2024, catastrophic floods hit San Diego County, impacting dozens of residents who live in Wakeland’s Village Green affordable housing community. More than 50 homes were destroyed by 4 to 5-foot surges of storm water, leaving residents without safe shelter, clothes, food and, in some cases, their cars.
