Emma Mouzon
Assistant Project Manager
Emma Mouzon has assisted in the development of more than 800 affordable homes throughout Southern California. As an Assistant Project Manager at Wakeland, Ms. Mouzon assists with the acquisition, financing, construction and lease-up of Wakeland’s affordable and supportive housing developments in Los Angeles and Riverside County.
Ms. Mouzon’s experience includes several roles in the affordable housing sector. Prior to joining Wakeland in April 2021, Ms. Mouzon worked as a Project Management Associate and ultimately Assistant Project Manager at PATH Ventures, where she was responsible for financing and developing affordable housing for homeless individuals and families.
During her time with PATH Ventures, Ms. Mouzon managed three supportive housing developments, representing more than $130 million of investment in affordable housing, and secured over $65 million in financing. Ms. Mouzon was also a member of PATH’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Steering Committee where she played an integral part in identifying, interviewing and selecting the organization’s first DEI consultant.
Ms. Mouzon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College, and interned in the real estate development departments at East LA Community Corporation and SRO Housing Corporation prior to graduating in 2018. Ms. Mouzon is a licensed Notary Public in the State of California and her professional development includes the Howard and Irene Levine Affordable Housing Development Program at UCLA’s Ziman Center for Real Estate.
Ms. Mouzon gives back to her community by fundraising for the Dartmouth College Fund to bolster financial aid and volunteering as an alumni interviewer. In her spare time, Ms. Mouzon is an avid baker, traveler and concert enthusiast.
