Wakeland Welcomes Julie Dillon to Our Board

We are proud to announce that Julie Dillon, President and Owner of Dillon Development, Inc., has joined Wakeland’s Board of Directors. Dillon is a seasoned real estate development professional with nearly four decades of experience in San Diego area, including residential, commercial and affordable projects.

"My passion is to work with organizations that provide housing for everyone – regardless of their income,” said Dillon. “Joining Wakeland’s Board will be a great way for me to stay deeply involved in affordable housing.”

Through her company, Dillon has developed several large residential projects and consulted with numerous developers planning large-scale projects in the San Diego area. Her past experience includes acting as Executive Director of Housing Opportunities, Inc., a nonprofit affordable housing development company. She is also a recognized leader in the building industry, having served as President of the Building Industry Association of San Diego and on the Board of Directors of Centre City Development Corporation.
