Peter Armstrong
Vice President of Real Estate Development
Peter Armstrong has two decades of experience in the field of community development and affordable housing. As Wakeland’s Vice President of Real Estate Development, he oversees all aspects of financing and construction of low-income rental housing developments.
Prior to joining Wakeland, Mr. Armstrong worked for the San Diego Housing Commission, EAH Housing and the cities of Berkeley and San Diego. A HOME Certified Specialist in Rental Housing Compliance, he is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences and trainings such as the San Diego Housing Federation's Affordable Housing Institute and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation's Housing Development Training Institute.
Mr. Armstrong received a Master of Planning degree from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts from Pomona College.
In his free time, Mr. Armstrong enjoys playing tennis, gardening and caring for his cats. You may also find him walking or biking near his Scripps Ranch home.
