Senior Project Manager Elected to SDHF Board

We are excited to announce that Wakeland Senior Project Manager Dani Halton has been elected to the Board of Directors for the San Diego Housing Federation (SDHF), the leading trade and advocacy group for affordable housing professionals in San Diego County. In her role as Board Member, Dani will lend her expertise garnered from a decade working in the affordable housing sector, providing guidance to the organization and helping to shape policy priorities, advocacy and events.

The April 1 SDHF Board changeover also marked the term end for Wakeland’s President and CEO, Rebecca Louie, who served on the Board from 2017 to 2025, most recently leading as Board Chair.

"Since joining Wakeland in 2019, Dani has consistently demonstrated a deep passion for and strong expertise in affordable housing," said Louie. "She is truly committed to understanding the complexities of the industry and finding innovative ways to drive positive change. Dani will be a tremendous asset to the SDHF Board, and I’m genuinely excited to pass the baton to someone so dedicated and capable."
