🎉 We’re still celebrating the grand opening of The Teralta — a new mixed-use community bringing 73 affordable homes for families to the heart of City Heights. This transformative development preserves the historic 1948 Superior Furniture Co. façade while creating new opportunities for residents to thrive, with spacious family-sized homes, onsite Resident Services, and community-serving commercial spaces.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to mark this special milestone, including our incredible speakers: Mayor Todd Gloria, Councilmember Sean Elo-Rivera, J.D., Lisa Jones (she/her), Chuck Sinkey, Sophie Bernabé, Launa K. Wilson, MSW, and Robert Price.
We’re also grateful to our event vendors, BF Burritos, Cafeina Cafe, and DJ Salvador Serrano for helping make the celebration so special. 🌮 ☕ 🎶
A heartfelt thank you to the partners and funders who helped bring this vision to life: Price Philanthropies Foundation, California Tax Credit Allocation Committee, California Debt Limit Allocation Committee, California Housing Finance Agency, California Community Reinvestment Corporation, U.S. Bank, California Department of Housing & Community Development, The City of San Diego, Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, and the San Diego Housing Commission.
Special thanks as well to the talented team who brought this community from vision to reality — DAHLIN Architecture | Planning | Interiors, Level 10 Construction, and the many subcontractors and trades who helped make The Teralta possible through their craftsmanship, dedication, and hard work.
Together, we are creating more than housing—we are building stronger communities. 🏡 🧡
