RT Matsushita is a talented professional who brings skills in a wide range of accounting and financial operations to his work as Senior Staff Accountant for Wakeland. He provides essential support to the organization, with responsibilities that include project accounting, accounts payable, uploading financials and assisting with month-end tasks and audits.
Prior to joining Wakeland, Mr. Matsushita worked as an Associate for the accounting consulting firm, TAG. His professional experience also includes work with the San Diego District Attorney’s Fiscal and Insurance Fraud units while he was a college student, where he used his fluency in Japanese to help with translations.
Mr. Matsushita has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from National University.
In his off-work hours, he enjoys going to the beautiful beaches around San Diego. You will often see him boogie-boarding during summer at Coronado Beach.
